SPIRIT OF SERVICE

The founding of Crimins Law was built on the spirit of service to others. Specifically, serving the individuals and families of my community that need assistance with their legal issues but can not afford the hiring of traditional legal counsel. The reality is, it is the families with the least financial means that are often the families that need assistance the most.

Heidi M. Crimins, Esq.

I am the Founding Attorney at Crimins Law. I have deep roots in Florida. I am a fourth generation Floridian, a wife, mother of four amazing sons, I am the oldest of five children and the favorite aunt. I have called Volusia County home for more than 25 years.

I founded Crimins Family Law to focus on the needs of families with children of low to moderate means that are facing legal issues. It is my goal to provide these families with the resources needed to resolve these family matters in a manner that addresses the needs of all involved in the most practical and peaceful manner possible. Every family is different and it is my goal to approach each client's individual needs with compassion, personalized attention and solid legal guidance. I am committed to resolving divorce, child related disputes and other family law issues in the least adversarial way possible.

I attended the University of Central Florida and graduated with a dual degree, receiving my Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice and Legal Studies. I then attended Barry University Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law in Orlando, FL. While attending there, I completed the Children's and Family Law Concentration Program. I also completed internships at the Ninth Circuit Public Defender's Office, the Immigration Clinic, and the Juveniles Serving Life Without Parole Defense Resource Center.

My experience in the legal field has focused on serving the families of Central Florida. While attending law school, since 2009, I worked as a law clerk for a small law practice that primarily focused on Family Law and Foreclosure Defense.
